And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Is 30:19-21

My life has been eventful to say the least. I could tell you stories that would probably make your mouth drop and your eyes buck. All happening of course, after I began this journey. The Lord was trying to do one thing and Cynde was trying to help Him by showing Him that this way would probably be better, Lord… I’m just saying. Now, I know the Lord has to have a sense of humor about some of the stuff I’ve asked or questioned Him about and especially those times where I’ve said “oh no, not going to do that.” Yet, eventually, I did do just that after watching me, watch me… it was not a pretty site. I know you're laughing right now but I’m honest about mine and I am only responsible for me. However, God does knows us; He knows us personally, better than we know ourselves and what we need individually in order to get us to the place where He wants for us to be. He knows what it’s going to take and He already knows our reaction before we react. Thank God for His graciousness and loving, tender mercies, right?

In this passage, Isaiah is telling the people that dwell in Zion and that waited on the Lord were blessed. Also, that He would be gracious and exalt them that chose not follow or put their trust in the oppression and perverseness of the Egyptians. He tells them that wait, would cry no more because the Lord would graciously attend to the voice of their cry. He will hear them, answer them and cause their ears to hear a word that would bring recall to what they had known and been taught and remind them in the way that they should go, directing them, that this is the way, walk in it and so that they would stay on the right path.

The Lord is saying the same to us today. Hear Me; hear the word that I will speak, this is the way in which you should go, walk in this way. He said lean not unto your own understanding Cynde, in all (not some) thy ways acknowledge Me and I will direct your path (Prov 3:5-6). God is never going to steer us in the wrong direction. His way is always the right way – although “we” may not think so and some of us have to learn the hard way. Sometime all it takes is to hear that one word to get you moving, to stir you up, get you back on track so that you can shift in direction He intends. The Lord left us a Comforter, to lead and guide us and help us on our way but we have to be open to hear. Began to listen and let’s wait to hear from the Lord, it’s essential for proper leading; then we are not led astray and doing our own thing, making our own choices and decisions and getting off the beaten path. We have no idea and we don’t know what dangers lurk if we take the wrong path or not heed to what He is saying. We have to put our trust and our confidence in the Lord because He knows His plan for us. It may not be according to what we think but it will be without a doubt the best way.

He that hath an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying …

Until the morning, be blessed,
Cynde
