Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Is 43:7

I remember writing not too long ago about being inquisitive at age 7 and asking God why He had made us and why were we here. Had I known the scriptures during that age, I could have read this particular verse, along with countless others that tell of His wondrous works, not only in the heavens and the earth but of His most precious creation, His people who He has called by His name.

We are the people that He created; a people that He made, formed, and shaped in His own image; a people that He holds dear to His heart; a people that He called according to His purpose; a people that will bless and give reverence to His name. A people that would give Him praise and would worship Him because of who He is; a people that would show forth and demonstrate His Glory, His Majesty, and His Splendor by the life we lead, being an example of our Creator in ever aspect of our lives.

Every one that is called by His name; everyone who bears His name and are witnesses that He is God should represent Him in how we serve; what we do, how we speak, and how we conduct our lives. The glory of God should reflect through us continually, everyday, all day … not when it’s convenient, not only on Sunday and not only when it is in the presence of others. If we would give thought to our lives, ask ourselves honestly, does my life give reverence or is it made up of profane babbling and self-righteous labor and motivation that equates to nothing? Let every man examine himself and remember that the God, who created and formed us, knows all and sees all. Let's remember that He has fashioned us for His purpose and created us for His glory!

Until the morning, be blessed,
Cynde
