The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7

This morning, I woke up singing “I trust in you Lord; I trust in you Lord to see me through. It’s because of you, I made it through. I trust you, I really do.” There is nothing like waking up with a song of praise in your heart. It starts the day off right and sets the pace for the morning (and a Morning Love).

Truly, if there was ever a time that we need to trust God, it’s now. In the midst of all that is or is not going on in our lives, it’s imperative that we continue to trust Him to see us through every circumstance. The song goes on to say, “when bills are due and friends are few, and all I have is you, I trust you Lord.” It’s crucial to keep the mindset that He is our strength and our defense at all times. We are not able to make it without his help and when we put our trust in Him and believe that He is our all in all, we can then begin to rejoice in the God of our salvation. We must have faith that He is our resource; Jevohah-Jireh, our provider for whatever we stand in need of.

I encourage you today to make this your daily affirmation. Wake up saying out loud, “I trust in You, Lord!”

Until the morning, be blessed,
Cynde
