O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: Psalm 96:1-4

Today and everyday we should give God praise because He has shown Himself mighty from day to day on our behalf. It's time to start singing a new song and begin to give the Lord the glory and honor that is due. Time to worship Him in the beauty of holiness; time to reverence Him and declare the wondrous works. In a day and a time when people are looking for ways to fill the void in their lives, the people of God have to stand up in the strength of the Lord and be thou an example the Word says to those who are in need. They should see us singing songs of praise in the midst of these tumultuous times.

I promised the Lord today that I will be singing a new song from this day forward. I'm going to wrap myself up in Him and show forth His glory among the people; for the Lord is worthy of my praise, continually, because He has done great things for me!
